Harsco’s BLACK BEAUTY® IRON blasting abrasives are high quality, chemically inert and contain less than .1% free silica, and are utilized in a wide range of applications. This includes the removal of surface coatings such as rust, paint, and scale, from a variety of substrates, especially structural steel and concrete. Additional packaging options and direct shipments are available.
- 50 lb (60 bags per pallet)
- Use Extra Fine for light blasting requiring a clean surface and minimum anchor profile including brush-off blast or high-pressure water blast systems.
- Use Fine for new construction, light paint and rust removal, and for special maintenance applications requiring reduced profiles.
- Use Medium for general purpose repair and maintenance blasting including removal of paint, rust, mill scale, and other coatings from surfaces.
