Black Diamond Copper Slag (AKA Iron Silicate) gets the job done fast! This blasting media is 20% heavier than other mineral slags, with the muscle to cut 15% faster and 20% less product consumption. It’s EPA approved for reuse, so you can stretch your supply even further. This product services a range of applications, from heavy-duty railcar facilities and shipyards to cleaning surfaces clear of light rust and coatings.

- 12/40 grade is often used for general purpose repair and maintenance blasting of coated steel surfaces
- 20/40 is used to remove light rust, mill scale, enamels, and acrylics. (Produces a moderate profile and is used for white to near white blast)
- 30/60 produces a slight profile for a near white blast finish and is ideal for light rust and mill scale removal. It can also be used in wet abrasive applications.
