A Legacy of Quality and Innovation in Surface Preparation
Marco Group International founded
Marco Group International's journey began in 1944, focusing on distributing foundry products to clients in the Midwestern United States. This initial focus laid the foundation for the company's expertise in industrial materials and processes.
Marco Group expands manufacturing
A significant milestone for Marco arrived in 1981. The company transitioned from solely distributing products to manufacturing its own abrasive blasting equipment in Davenport, Iowa. This move showcased Marco's commitment to innovation and control over product quality.
Marco Group continues to grow
Over the following decades, Marco experienced significant growth. They expanded their reach by opening new facilities across the United States, catering to a wider customer base. Additionally, Marco diversified its product offerings to include repair, modernization solutions, and custom engineering services, demonstrating their commitment to comprehensive customer support.
APE Companies EmergeS
In 2004, APE Companies entered the scene, quickly establishing itself as a top distributor in the abrasive blasting industry. The company's rapid rise within the sector solidified its position as a key player.
APE's Strategic Acquisitions
Through strategic acquisitions in 2012 and 2013, APE expanded its product portfolio beyond abrasive blasting. By acquiring companies like BKW Environmental, Alliance Parts, and Safety Pros, APE diversified its offerings to include safety equipment and environmental solutions. In 2014, Ridgemont Equity Partners acquired APE and grew to include SharpJet and Corrosion Specialities Inc.
Continued Expansion of APE
APE ventured into the Canadian market in 2019 by acquiring abrasive media distributor, Bell & MacKenzie Co. Ltd. and manufacturer and distributor, Manus Abrasive Systems Inc. solidifying its presence in North America.
Allredi is Born
In early 2020, Marco Group International and APE Companies joined forces to form Allredi, LLC. This merger united two industry leaders, creating a comprehensive resource for surface preparation, safety, and environmental solutions.
