WHAT AIR COMPRESSOR DO I NEED?
XS Series models include a 110 CFM compressor, enough to support the blast pot and many pneumatic tools.
S Series models allow you to choose from a 185 CFM compressor - perfect for general-purpose blasting, delivering a steady flow of air to power your blast pot for most surface prep jobs. It’s efficient, compact, and fuel-friendly - or a 300 CFM compressor for heavier-duty projects, harder coatings, or when you want to blast with a larger nozzle. More airflow means faster media delivery, higher productivity, and the ability to tackle bigger jobs without slowing down.
WHAT’S THE ABRASIVE AND WATER CAPACITY?
DB225^® MOBILE XS: Holds up to 10 gallons of water and 100 lbs of abrasive, allowing for up to 30 minutes of continuous blasting time.
DB500^® MOBILE S and DB500^® MOBILE S PRO: Holds up to 20 gallons of water and 200 lbs of abrasive, allowing for up to 60 minutes of continuous blasting time.
DB800^® MOBILE S and DB800^® MOBILE S PRO: Holds up to 30 gallons of water and 300 lbs of abrasive, allowing for up to 90 minutes of continuous blasting time.
WHAT KIND OF ABRASIVE IS USED?
For wet blasting, nearly any abrasive can be used - provided it’s clean, consistent, and sinks in water. The most popular and cost-effective option is 40/70 recycled crushed glass.
CAN I DO DRY BLASTING WITH IT?
Yes, these units can use any media a traditional dry blaster would use.
WHAT SAFETY CERTIFICATIONS DOES IT HAVE?
The blast pot and system meet ASME, PED, and CE compliance standards.
